Learn about human trafficking - from what to watch out for, how to protect yourself and your loved ones, and how to help victims of trafficking. Dr. Shari Kim will present information regarding human trafficking followed by a small group activity. There will be time for questions following the presentation.

You must have Zoom capability to engage in this training. All participants must register separately for this event. A certificate of attendance will be provided at the conclusion of the training once the training evaluation is completed.

About the trainer:

Shari Kim is a licensed psychologist and certified addictions counselor. She specializes in treatment of addictions and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
She is also certified to provide Eye Movement Desensitization
and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which is an
evidence-based treatment for PTSD.

She is the Chair of the Behavioral Health Work Group for the York County Human Trafficking Task Force and the Chair of the Human Trafficking Subcommittee for the Pennsylvania Psychological Association. She also serves as the Disaster Response Network Coordinator for the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and the Regional Co-Lead for Disaster Mental Health with the American Red Cross.
